Resumen:
Starting from Police´s Records stored in The National General File, and the bibliography referred to the topic, including literary works of the time, this paper pretends to analyze the public role of women in particular, in the context of the year 1848 when, under the regime of Rosas in Buenos Aires, the women -so much those of their family like those of the common people- occupied a relevant social position. The paper focuses on the decadence of the public life and the opening toward a privatization process and constitution of a new intimacy in the family. In this frame will be described some events around the social redefinition of the so considered transgressions and the double moral relaxation/authoritarianism, in a social hierarchy ethnically-based.
