Resumen:
In this work, an efficient synthesis of dihydropyrimidinones from aldehydes, ethyl acetoacetate and urea using Well-Dawson acid H6P2W18O62.24H20) as catalyst is described. The described procedure allows obtaining the products in good to excellent yields, higher than 86% in several cases.
