Resumen:
Amines are efficiently acylated with anhydrides using amino-grafted SBA-15 mesoporous silica as reusable catalyst. Reactions proceed with very good to excellent yield under mild conditions, using toluene as solvent. The catalyst was easily reused without appreciable loss of its activity. Chemoselective acylation of amines in the presence of alcohols, phenol and thiols has been achieved with high selectivity.
