Resumen:
Adsorption of a monoatomic interacting gas is studied by using Monte Carlo simulation in the grand canonical ensemble. The substrate has been modeled by two kind of sites (the so-called bivariate heterogeneous surface),  forming square homogeneous patches of lxl size; these adsorptive domains have been distributed at random or in chessboard-like topography. The process is monitored by following the adsorption isotherm and the differential heat of adsorption.
