Resumen:
Mature larvae of the endemic Patagonian genera StethelmisHinton and Luchoelmis Spangler & Staines are described and illustrated for the first time. A diagnosis for thesetwo genera and a comparative table allowing separating larvae of the elmid genera found in the province ofChubut (Argentina) are included.
