In recent years, the escalating challenges associated with water pollution and contamination have spurred intensive research efforts towards innovative and efficient water remediation technologies. Among the forefront of these advancements are Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and related hybrid materials, which have emerged as promising candidates for revolutionizing water treatment processes. MOFs, characterized by their well-defined porous structures and tunable functionalities, exhibit remarkable properties that make them highly adaptable for the removal of various pollutants from water sources. In this work, the synthesis, characterization and applications of three zirconium-based MOF was carried out. The three porous materials were supported on a membrane based on soy protein and employed for the adsorption of different organic dyes
