Resumen:
The universal shortage of organs prompted the growing use of donation after circulatory death (DCD) that is expected to increase even further in the near future. The valuable resource of DCD has been denied for intestinal graft because of the concern about the ischemic susceptibility of this organ. Until now, there are few experimental studies that support this veto, and more experimental evidence is needed. Our aim is to compares the ischemic damage of multivisceral graft from DCD with those from Brain Death Donors (BDD) and Livnig donors (LD).
