Resumen:
This workis part of the activities carried jointly by the Laboratory of Electronics andExperimental Physics group whose line of research aims to study nanostructuredmaterials suitable for hydrogen storage.Besidesthe usual characterization techniques ( X-ray diffraction , electronmicroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and volumetric measurements) [1],[7], in samples containing Fe , it is possible to use Spectroscopy Mössbauer [2] sensitive atomic environment of Fe atoms. In this sense, it would be veryimportant to observe the evolution of the Mössbauer signal ( constant speedmode ) simultaneously with the detection of hydrogen flow associated withthermally activated desorption or absorption .For thispurpose, a furnace has been constructed based on an annular heater [3] placedin a water cooled stainless steel chamber coupled to a flow meter. Experienceinvolves heating the sample in a controlled manner by recording the time, temperature and hydrogen flow while simultaneously and independently aMossbauer spectrum is measured .This paperdescribes the development and implementation of a system that control andautomates the acquisition of the aforementioned parametersThe experiment iscontrolled by a computer system ( or Notebook PC ) , measuring , controlling ,recording and automatically plotting the evolution of the variables of theexperiment ( temperature and gas flow ) versus time . The software wasdeveloped in a programming language of high level ( Matlab , Delphi ) offeringthe user a typical graphic user interphase (GUI) visual languages
