COST D32:Workshop on Chemistry in High-EnergyMicroenvironments8th – 9th July 2004University of Alicante, SpainDear colleagues,As the representative of the organizing committee ofthis workshop, let me to welcome to Alicante.To arrange this event has been a little bit diffi cult but atthe end we are here as the fi rst big meeting of the newCOST D32 Action.The organizing committee wish to thank the strongsupport of our Institution, as well as of our ChairmanDr. Walton and valuable indications from Dr. Petrus(from COST Offi ce in Brussels). In addition, thismeeting has only been possible for the signifi cantcollaboration of Dr. José Gonzalez and the strong workof all our collaborators.
