Espectroscopía nebular de la supernova 2016gkg

The spectroscopic analysis of the type IIb supernova 2016gkg is presented. These results are based on observations obtained with the Gemini South telescope on August 2017, approximately one year after the explosion, when the supernova was in its nebular phase. The nebular spectrum directly shows the emission coming from the areas near the former stellar nucleus, which makes its study of great astrophysical interest, providing information about the structure of the progenitor star and its explosion mechanism. In particular, an estimate of the progenitor mass is made based on relative intensities of the emission lines and we analyze possible asymmetries from their Doppler shifts. In addition, we compare the spectrum with two other supernovae spectra, of the same type and observed at similar phases.
