Resumen:
Crocodile nests provide microhabitats for several vertebrate species(Merchant et al., 2013; González-Desales et al., 2020; Platt et al., 2021).Among nest visitors, predators have been identified, and this activity is theprimary cause of nest failure in crocodiles (Campos and Mourão, 2014;Mazzotti et al., 2015). In Argentina, nest predators of the Broad-snoutedcaiman (Caiman latirostris) and factors associated with predation, have beenidentified (Larriera and Piña, 2000; Simoncini et al., 2016; Ojeda Adame etal., 2018), although the activity of nest visitors during the incubation seasonis unknown.
