se presentaron las líneas de elaboración conjunta en el marco del CAIMAR.The proposed CAIMAR JL is conceived as a room where Argentinean and Italian can cooperate in the fields of marine and maritime sciences, providing their own instruments, ideas, competences, experiences, etc. The European "ERAnet" is the concept our proposal is inspired to: a unified area open to the world, in which scientific knowledge, technology and researchers circulate and freely meet. Consequently, our proposal canbe considered as Italo-Argentinian ERAnet on Marine and Maritime Science & Technology.The macro objective of this proposal is to reinforce the Italian-Argentinean cooperation with the aim of:1) Improving the knowledge of Argentinean seas and oceans and further seas (Mediterranean Sea, polar areas, etc.) in order to carry out multi-disciplinarycomparative studies for understanding the functioning ofmarine eco-systems within selected areas;2) Enhancing current scientific debate and further research on Blue Growth issues and their potential for bilateral cooperation. These issues can trigger growth and competitiveness both in Italy and Argentine andcomprise Integrated Coastal Zone Management, ocean energy, blue biotech, Marine Spatial Planning, underwater cultural heritage, etc.3) Boosting cooperation not only in Research, but also on Training and Dissemination within the areas of Marine Sciences and Technologies (e.g. eco-friendly vessels, fisheries, etc.);
