Coordination complexes have been extensively studied as antiproliferative agents , offering a potential alternative for cancer treatment. Both, the ligand and the metal play an important role in the pharmacological properties of the complex.This study evaluates the effect of 6-methoxyquinoline complexes with copper, zinc and silver as antitumoral agents in 2D (monolayer) and a 3D (multicellular spheroids) models derived from A549 and MG-63 cell lines.
