Resumen:
The Blanca Serrana Andaluza goat has been used as a source of food, and ita has helped to mantain the ecosystem, but is currently threatened by extinction. This breed´s most important reproductive characterisics were sttudied in order to generate information to improve the use of assisted reproduction technologies in this breed as part of a breed preservation program. Sperm motility was evaluated before and after asimple freezing method. It is concluded that the semen of the Blanca ]errana Andaluza goat can be frozen and thawed successfully, in terms of mass motility and individual motility.
