Resumen:
Animal production faces various challenges to achieve sustainability, including animal welfare associated with proper nutrition Limitation of resources and environmental conservation demand new strategies to optimize the energy conversion of feed In particular, the digestibility of feed can be improved by enzymatic hydrolysis of antinutritional factors, such as non starch polysaccharides, present in plant based ingredients In this study we aimed to use lignocellulolytic white rot basidiomycete fungi to produce highly efficient in house enzymatic cocktails enriched in endo beta-1,4 xylanase, beta-glucanase, alpha galactosidase, arabinofuranosidase, and polygalacturonases activities to enhance digestibility of plant feed ingredients for monogastric animals
