An implementation of navigation system for NPC vehicles based on steering behaviors

Steering behaviors are motion-based procedures used by au- tonomous agents to navigate in its own environment. In this work we present an implementation of a navigation system for autonomous vehi- cles situated in a dynamic 3D scenario with realistic physics. Pathfinding is achieved in real time, where possible trajectories are analyzed using adapted steering behaviors. These methods are tested in a virtual world made with Unity 3D.
