Resumen:
The Pehuenche Spiny-chest Frog Alsodes pehuenche isan endemic species from the Andes of Argentina and Chile, considered to beCritically Endangered. Its population has been declining during the last 10years, principally as consequence of activities related to paving route thatcrosses the streams where inhabits. Until now, exotic fish species were notrecorded in these water courses. Here, we documented the occurrence of rainbowtrout in one of these streams, and the subsequent predation on this endangeredspecies.
