Frustrated spin systems have been extensively explored in recent years mainly due to the role that frustration plays in inducing both non-conventional magnetic phases and excitations. In particular, low-dimensional systems are an active field of research with continuousadvances in theoretical techniques and experimental discoveries in this type of systems.In the present work we study the free excitations of a quantum Heisenberg model on a highly frustrated honeycomb bilayer lattice under the influence of an external magnetic field.
