In this paper we analyze the differences between a domestic space and a ritual one produced by the Selknam people (Tierra del Fuego), using archaeozoology. The differentiation between one area and the other has been possible thanks to ethnography, because differences were barely perceptible archaeologically speaking. This study also makes us think on how the tangible result of a hunter-gatherer society ceremony, can be not so noticeable.
