Resumen:
This work describes a method of automatic detection of crop rows for the navigation assistance of autonomous vehicles in cultivated fields. The detection of the crop is done through images captured with a video camera mounted on the vehicle. The method is based on the use of a 3D model of the crop rows. The proposed system is evaluated in real conditions, using videos captured with a vehicle through the cultivated area. Preliminary results are satisfactory and show that the proposed method is suitable to be used in real time.
