Resumen:
The insect parasitoids are a special group of natural enemies, whose larval stage lives as a parasite at expenses of one individual host - usually other insect - that dies as aproduct of such interaction. They are valued by their ubiquity, searching efficiency, and bytheir specialization on few host species; besides, most successful cases ofestablishment and control of pests included parasitoids as biocontrol agents, incomparison with other natural enemies. Given their importance, considerable researchhas been done regarding the factors that improve their presence and abundance, andamong them, the occurrence of plant species that provide floral and refuge resources forthe adult stage.
