Resumen:
The purpose of this paper is to address the possibility of ethical action from a deconstructive standpoint. I will show that some Derridean texts open the possibility of an ethics of deconstruction. As a starting point I consider Derrida’s “phenomenological” disclosure of the singular dimension of the event , following the thread of the meaning of “iterability” and “differance”. Thus, the aim of this paper is to show how, through thinking the event in its unique singularity—  basically in the form and the frame of the relationship with the other—the affirmation of an unconditional justice opens up. This openness speaks to the possibility of ethical action. In order to reach this point, I will analyse the following points: First, the event in its irreducible singularity. Second, the moment of decision-making and its urgency, as well as the aporias which arise from a philosophical understanding of a unique, singular moment from an universal perspective. Third, the infinity of justice and the meaning of deconstruction as ethical statement.
