The TOYCLIM system is a combination of toy global models (i.e., empty models, in which no physics isincluded) but for which both coupling communication and interpolation are realistic, representing theatmosphere (TOYATM), the ocean (TOYOCE) and the atmospheric chemistry (TOYCHE), and usingOASIS3 software. An essential technical aspect of a flexible earth system modeling software systemis its portability. As described in the Demonstration Specification Report athttp://www.prism.enes.org/WPs/WP5/Att3 DSD.pdf,the portability of the PRISM standard coupler OASIS3 and PRISM Standard Compiling and RunningEnvironements (SCE, SRE) was demonstrated by integrating the OASIS3 TOYCLIM system on differentplatforms.
