Evaluation of the potential aerosol formation in the reaction of SO2 with the Criegee intermediates derived from the isoprene ozonolysisRecent experimental information from reaction of SO2 with Criegee intermediates derived from ozonolysis of isoprene reaction has confirmed the SO3 formation (a significant source of atmospheric sulfuric acid), but the mechanism is still not completely understood. In order to make a new contribution, we present a theoretical kinetic study about the detailed mechanism involved in these reactions.
