Streams and Flocks in glioblastomas

Intra-tumoral heterogeneity is a hallmark of glioblastoma that challenges treatmentefficacy. Recently was published a work describing a comprehensive spatiotemporal study thataligns distinctive intra-tumoral histopathological structures, dubbed oncostreams, with dynamicproperties and a specific, actionable, spatial transcriptomic signature. In this talk, I'll show agentbased simulations that can replicate the dynamic of oncostreams and other observed patterns. Theresults confirm the hypothesis that oncostreams are self-organized and the product of the fine tunebetween shape and density
