Resumen:
The purpose of this paper is to examine the legal references in Old Comedy to suggest appropriate interpretative frameworks for the manipulation of law on stage. The similarities between the performances at dramas, lawcourts and assemblies are explored, with the intent of providing new grounds for understanding the abuse of legal material in Aristophanes.
