Resumen:
Various international perspectives from selected regions wheresubstantial work is being done emphasize a systems thinking framework for green& sustainable chemistry education. Common to most of them is the inclusionof more global paradigms involving economic, environmental, political, andsocial aspects as fundamental issues in the formerly merelytechnical/scientific discussions, as well as the development of laboratory experiences, training sessions, written materials, discussion meetings, and conferences. We includebird´s eye views from Europe (e.g.,the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence at the University of York (UK), theUniversity of Cordoba (Spain), the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands)), Latin America (the Universidad Nacional deRosario (Argentina) and the Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico)), Africa (the University of Venda (South Africa)),and Australia (Monash University).
