Resumen:
A family of structurally related p-conjugated star-shape bis-carbazol-triphenylamine end-caped dendrimers wasdesigned, synthetized and characterized as novel organic optoelectronic  Materials. These compounds hold triphenylamineand carbazole electroactive moieties as dendrimer core and/or periphery groups.Homogeneous and stable electrogenerated polymeric films were obtainedfrom dendrimers over Pt and ITO electrodes. These films showed chargeconductivities, reversible electrochemical behavior and electrochromic effect. The hole mobility of the electrodeposited films was found to bedependent of the dendrimeric structure and film morphologies, indicating that the shape and size of the studied dendrimers have a strongeffect on their charge transport properties. These results provide data thatwill contribute to the systematic study for the design of new dendrimers asstarting materials for conductive polymers films with potentialapplications in optoelectronic devices.
