Resumen:
The aim of this study is to understand the molecular and cellular interactions during the early stages of the interaction process occurring between Casuarina and Frankia. The strategy adopted was to genetically transform Allocasuarina verticillata and Casuarina glauca with heterologous promoters involved in cell division such as cdc2aAt or implicated in legume nodule organogenesis such as the early nodulin gene (PsEnod12B). Using the ß-glucuronidase gene, the expression pattern confered by these sequences was studied in actinorhizal plants.
