Resumen:
We measured the specific heat vs. temperature in single crystal samples of superconducting La2CuO4.11, in magnetic fields up to 15 T. After subtraction of the phonon contribution to the specific heat, obtained measuring a nonsuperconducting crystal, we found a broad anomaly centered at 50 K. This excess specific heat is attributed to fluctuations of the Cu2+ spins possibly enhanced by an interplay with the charge degrees of freedom.
