Resumen:
(Bi1-xYx)FeO3 was synthesized by the co-precipitation method. Bi(NO3)3—5H2O, FeCl3—6H2O/Fe(NO3)3—9H2O and Y2O3 were dissolved successively in HNO3 65% under stirring and heating (60ºC). The pH was kept constant at 9.3 through synchronized dropping of ammonia 3M in order to ensure homogeneous precipitation. The final suspension was washed with MilliQ water until a pH of 7 was obtained. The wet powder obtained was dried in vacuum at 50ºC overnight. Afraction of the dried powders were calcined at 500ºC
