A representation theory of MV-algebras by Algebraic Geometry

We utilize techniques first developed in Grotendieck´s aproach to algebraic geometry to prove a general representation theorem for mv-algebras as the algebra of global sections of a sheaf of mv-chains. This result generalize the     representation of locally finite mv-algebras of Cignoly-Dubuc-Mundici. Our representation in the case of free mv-algebras yields the McNaughton theorem, and furnish a conceptual frame for the theorem.
