Resumen:
G24.7+0.6 is a supernova remnant (SNR) located in a complex region of the Galaxy. It shows a morphology of two radio shells with a filled center of flat spectrum. The distribution of the molecular gas on its surroundings suggests an interaction between the SNR and several  molecular clouds. Based on infrared data we identify young stellar object (YSO) candidates in the vicinity of G24.7+0.6. We analyze the star formation scenario to establish the role played by the SNR in the formation of new stars.
