Resumen:
Soil contamination in Antarctica requires the development of simpleremediation protocols, due to the fact that availability of machinery andfacilities is scarce. Bioremediation -and biostimulation in particular- provides asimple, low cost and effective tool to amend these soils. In this work, wecompare the performance of two consecutive biostimulation field assays usingbiopiles, during 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 Argentinian Antarctic Expeditions inCarlini Station, Isla 25 de Mayo, Islas Shetland del Sur. The aim of this work isto find the variables that may influence the efficiency of a bioremediationstrategy in Antarctica.
