Search, description, identification, nomenclature and classification of transposable elements in the genome of Glycine max (soja), Fragaria x ananassa (strawberry), Corymbia citriodora, Eucalyptus grandis, Salix purpurea (willow), Lactuca sativa (lettuce), Prunus persica (peach), Setaria italica (millet), Stevia rebaudiana (ka´a he´e), Panicum hallii (Hall´s panicgrass), Olea europaea (olive), Sorghum bicolor, Citrus clementina (tangerina), Citrus sinensis (orange), Cicer arietinum (chickpea), Chenopodium quinoa (quinoa), Brachypodium distachyon, Arachis hypogaea (peanut), Nimphaea colorata, and Anana comosus (pineapple). Characterization of 256 elements of Class I non-LTR retrotransposons of the SINE2/tRNA clade. Sequences with annotated features are deposited at the Repbase Update database (www.girinst.org).
