Resumen:
The oral administration of the immunomodulator thymomodulin (TmB) to immunodeficient rats: 1) improves the repopulation of the intestinal villi with immunocompetent cells, 2) benefits the epithelium regulating the number of T cell subpopulations (CD4+, CD8 aa, CD25+ as well as the gama delta +) that returns to control levels, and 3) breaks unresponsiveness to the food antigen dextrin. Therefore, the oral administration of TmB may be useful as a therapeutic agent
