Resumen:
In this paper we define Herz spaces on spaces of homogeneous type associated to dyadic families. We prove analytic properties of such spaces and address the problem of the democracy property of Haar systems associated to dyadic families. In particular, we give geometric conditions for the democracy of a Haar system on Herz spaces implying that such spaces turn out to be only Lebesgue spaces.
