Star-planet interaction trough spectral lines

The grow of spectroscopic observations of exoplanetarysystems allows the possibility of test theoretical models and study theinteraction that the exoplanetary atmospheres have with the wind and theenergetic photons from the star.In this work, we present a set of numerical 3D simulationsbased on known exoplanetary systems (HD 209458b, HD 149026b and GJ 436b) forwhich spectral lines observations are available. Some of the most promisinglines to study the star-planet interaction and the upper planetary atmosphereare Ly-alpha, H-alpha and the Helium lines. With our models, we can reconstructthe synthetic lines observed during transits and compare with the real ones.
