The talk will introduce on how the ´Dynamics of Marine Plankton and Climate Change (DiPlaMCC) Program of INIDEP studies changes in the physical-chemical and biological environment in different areas of the Argentine Sea, especially at the ecological time series stations located in the Northern Argentine continental self. The focus of the talk will be on the spatiotemporal variability of the carbonate system and the role of phytoplankton on the regulation of air-sea gas exchange in the ecological time series section COSTAL.
