Sub-20 fs all-optical switching in a single Au-covered Si nanodisk

We perform pump-probe spectroscopy measurements with 7 fs pulses on individual Au-covered Si nanoantennas. We find conditions leading to positive and negative sub-20 fs reflectivity modulations in the vicinity of higher-order anapole modes. To the best of our knowledge, this structure represents the fastest nanoscale all-optical switch
