Resumen:
Nanoantennas made of high index dielectric materials, for instance here gallium phosphide (GaP), owing to their extremely low losses, high nonlinearity and exellent compatibility with the CMOS fabrication technology, in addition to be able to support electric and magnetic resonances in the visible and near IR region, have recently been demonstrated as ideal candidates towards replacing conventional noble metal nanoantennas in concentrating and manipulating light at the nanoscale for realising novel optical devices. A fundamental understanding on possibilities of spatio-temporal control of optical excitations in these materials is important, in order to achieve a truly all- optical controlled device. However, no attempt has been made in that direction so far. Here in a first experiment, we show that GaP nanodisks better the performance of metal nanoantennas in supporting optical coherences.
