Resumen:
The EDELWEISS project is dedicated to directly detect dark matter particles by studying the interaction of possible candidates with a high purity Germanium crystal at cryogenic temperatures.The lowest detectable particle energy is currently around 10 keV and mainly limited by the JFET pre-amplification stage.A significant improvement of the energy threshold is proposed in the present work, by using a Cooper pair box as a highly sensitive electrometer. We present here the design concepts and the first experimental results
