To explain the contribution of nanoscience to the tissue engineering, we will initiate by describing thenanocomposite nature of bone and the extracellular matrix (ECM). Then we will discuss about how therecreation of native tissues nanostructure could enhance functional tissue organization and its effect onthe matrix properties after the implantation of engineered tissues.
