Artificial Intelligence and the Legal Concept of Person. Reflections on the case of Argentina

This paper debates if it is possible and convenient to recognize the notion of electronic person as a kind of the legal concept of person. For this, we comment the recommendation of the European Parliament and, based on two axes (descriptive component and normative component), the electronic person is compared with human, legal and non-human animal persons. Likewise, we aim to describe the possible impact of ruling the electronic person over the same legal concept of person. Finally, a possible practical foundation for such regulation is indicated, based on a social reaction.
