But until the present paper, PGM in the metamorphic basement have not been identified. This contribution describes the presence of three kinds of PGM in samples from drill 5/4: platinum arsenides, platinum-palladium bismuthotellurides and palladium bismuthotellurides, present in mafic-ultramafic and in metamorphic rocks from the Las Aguilas East deposit.
