This work presents results proceeding for the digital processing of satellite images (ASTER) from the Cerro Áspero batholith, Sierra de Comechingones. The study was oriented towards the sections of targets to find greisenization and albitization in the roof of plutons have been recognized by mean of supervised classification, ratios of bands and calculation of emissivity. Several areas of interest were located for the prospecting of mineral deposits with economic potential. The digital processing provides highly accurate data which can be used as a basis for mapping granitic bodies and exploration of mineral deposits.
