Resumen:
Recombinant T. gondii small heat shock Hsp20, surface antigen SAG1 and dense granule Gra7 were analyzed by IgG-ELISA with serum samples of toxoplasmic infected humans. rSAG1 and rGra7 reacted with 80% of seropositive serum samples, whereas rHsp20 reacted with 70%. The three antigens were combined to be analyzed by IgG-ELISA with serum samples of different titers. Nineteen out of 21 (90.5%) seropositive serum samples reacted with the mix of antigens. In conclusion, we demonstrated that during parasite infection, Toxoplasma Hsp20 elicit a strong humoral response and it could be suitable for the develop of diagnosis and vaccine tools
