Resumen:
The study of the educational practices of elites groups is a relatively new research field in Argentina, although the analysis of the formation and constitution of the more/most? relevant groups in such an unequal society has been addressed in previous studies since 1960. While the analysis of poverty has been systematically pursued by many research projects exploring inequality this field of studies lacked an insight on elite groups, their circuits and institutions. It wasn´t until the turn of the century that the persistence of inequality made a relational view of advantaged/disadvantaged groups ineluctable. In recent years, social and economic transformations experienced by Argentinean society in the context of renewed capitalist accumulation translated into changing social integration patterns and gave inequality studies a new momentum.
