Resumen:
I will make a short comment regarding the adoption of the Interest-Relative Invariantism account (IRI). In particular, I will argue that IRI, in the way that it is described in Stanley´s book “Knowledge and Practical Interests” is committed to the conclusion that we are always in a very special “High Stake” situation, which involves the possibility of being in a skeptic scenario. This has the implication that, if the IRI´s practical component is going to make a difference in the extension of the cases considered as being instances of knowledge, then IRI must be combined with externalist theories of knowledge, against Stanley´s considerations concerning the compatibility of IRI with every theory of konwledge whatsoever.
