Resumen:
The elastic scattering of the 10B +10B system has been measured for nine energies in the range ELab = 14 ? 38 MeV at the TANDAR Accelerator, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The angular distributions have been obtained by making use of a set of eight silicon detectors interspaced by 5 degrees, thereby covering the theta_lab = 20 ? 80 degrees angular range. The target composition (containing enriched 10B and a carbon backing) was determined applying the ERDA technique. Coupled-channels calculations of the angular distributions have been performed with the FRESCO code [1] using the São Paulo Potential [2]. The comparison of such calculations with the experimental data is used to investigate the transverse isotropy (TI) phenomenon on the Mott oscillations, as analytically predicted by the works of F. Canto and Hussein [3, 4].[1] I. J. Thompson, http://www.fresco.org.uk[2] L.C. Chamon et al., Phys. Rev. C 66, 014610 (2002).[3] L. F. Canto, M. S. Hussein, and W. Mittig, Phys. Rev.
